Zhao Ronglai, male, was born in 1929, Chief Physician of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), served as the Deputy Director of Beijing Institute of TCM. He has been a Member of Council of Beijing Association of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, Member of the Digestive System Disease Specialty Committee of Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, Vice President of the Chinese Gastrology Specialty Committee, Member of Council of the Medical Specialty Committee of China Senior Professors Association, Member of the Editorial Board of Beijing Medical Library, Member of the Standing Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine on Spleen and Stomach, and Member of the Editorial Board of Beijing Journal of TCM. He has received a certificate of outstanding contribution and a special government subsidy from the State Council. StateAdministration of TCM recognized him as a national famous TCM physician. He is the Masters' Supervisor of Beijing Institute of TCM, Supervisor of Gao Tusheng, the traditional Chinese medicine doctor in Beijing, and Instructor of inheritance work of academic experience of national TCM experts. He has set up a project to construct the inheritance room station of "3 + 3" project and the inheritance studio of TCM doctors inheritance studio. He was awarded the "Certificate of Contribution to the Cultivation of Talents in TCM" and the "National Award for Contribution to the Integration of TCM and Modern Medicine" by the State Administration of TCM.

He edited two academic monographs, published 170 papers, and won 26 awards of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Health and Beijing Science and Technology Achievement Award. In 1978, he led and organized the research on "Computer-based Expert Diagnosis and Treatment System of TCM", which was the first interdisciplinary project in China to combine the clinical practice of TCM with computer technology, and won the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Achievement Award. He has been introduced in Health News, Health Consultatiotn, Beijing Daily, Beijing Television, CCTV "Chinese Medicine" and other journals and programs.

Mr. Zhao Ronglai is good at treating esophageal, gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, pancreatic, renal diseases and various deficiency syndrome with integratedTCM and modern medicine. His treatment method has achieved remarkable curative effect, praised by the majority of patients.
