Zhou De'an, was born in 1939, Chief Physician and Professor of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He is the Honorary President of Beijing Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society, Honorary Director of China Acupuncture Society, Editorial Board Member of Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion Journal and Beijing Journal of TCM, the third, fourth and fifth batches of instructor of inheritance work of academic experience of national TCM experts, Doctoral Supervisor of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Postdoctoral Cooperation Supervisor of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Director of Zhou De'an Famous Doctors Inheritance Studio of the State Administration of TCM, and Supervisor of "Zhou De'an Famous Doctors Inheritance Workstation", one of the "Inheritance 3 + 3 of TCM" projects in Beijing.

He was the Director of Department of Acupuncture of Beijing Hospital of TCM for a long time, and the third generation of Academic Leader after Wang Leting of Golden Needle and He Puren of Master of TCM. He has been engaged in medical practice for more than 50 years, and applied acupuncture and moxibustion therapy in the treatment for over 100 kinds of pain, neurasthenia, neurotic deafness, multiple tics and other diseases. He has accumulated rich clinical experiences, forming a unique academic thought of "Six Methods on Treatments of Acupuncture" in the aspects of acupuncture treatment of mentality, phlegm, pain, stroke, deafness and hyperactivity.
