Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is one of the most common, frequently-occurring and refractory diseases. Precancerous lesion of gastric cancer is a pathological concept, which refers to the histological changes that are more prone to canceration. In general, metaplasia and dysplasia of the intestinal epithelium severely incomplete in the gastric mucosa are called "precancerous lesions", which often occur on the basis of chronic atrophic gastritis. There is no effective treatment in western medicine currently. Traditional Chinese medicine is unique in treating such disease. Combining with many years' clinical experience, the digestion center puts forward the theory of treating precancerous lesions of chronic atrophic gastritis from "deficiency, stasis and toxin", and emphasizes the combination of holistic conditioning and individualized medication, so as to achieve the goal of seeking the root of the disease. At the same time, the combination of disease and syndrome, on the basis of syndrome differentiation and treatment, according to gastroscopy and pathological manifestations, appropriate addition of anticancer drugs, improve the local immunity of gastric mucosa. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment can not only significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients, but also reverse gastric mucosal atrophy, intestinal metaplasia and dysplasia in some patients, and significantly improve the quality life of patients.
