Refractory cough refers to a cough that lasts for more than 8 weeks. After a series of examinations such as imaging, pulmonary function tests and empirical treatment, the cause of the cough is still unknown and the curative effect is poor. Department of Respiratory Disease has accumulated rich experience in diagnosis and treatment of refractory cough and effective prescription. Inheriting the academic thoughts and clinical experiences in treating refractory cough from national famous traditional Chinese medicine physicians in our Department, such as Xu Gongyan and Cao Xiping, and taking "Cangma Pill", "Allergic Decoction" and "Qingfei Pill" as the core, the department has formulated a TCM treatment plan for refractory cough with outstanding effect.
