Zhao Bingnan is an expert in dermatology of traditional Chinese medicine. He has been working as a doctor for more than 60 years and accumulated rich clinical experience. In the long-term clinical practice, he has formed his unique style of skin surgery treatment. He is a diligent doctor and has been instructing students with tireless zeal, contributing to the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Collection of Zhao Bingnan's Clinical Experience, compiled by his disciples and assistants, was published by the People's Medical Publishing House Co., LTD in 1975. The book systematically introduces Zhao Bingnan's clinical experience and academic thoughts. The book includes 51 diseases and 137 cases, and introduces 3 special therapies, effective prescriptions and common prescriptions. This book won the National Science Conference Award in 1978.
The book is divided into four parts. The first part is a selection of medical records, with a total of 137 cases and 51 diseases. In terms of the choice of diseases, it mainly covers Mr. Zhao Bingnan's successful treatment cases, some difficult diseases which have not been completely cured yet achieved improvements, and also some intractable common diseases that have achieved short-term curative effects. In terms of sorting methods, this book uses the name of western medicine diseases, introduces symptoms according to the requirements of western medicine, and then carries out syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine according to the symptoms. Each case is followed by comments summarizing Mr. Zhao Bingnan's treatment points, prescriptions and our learning experience. The second part introduces three unique therapies, which he developed on the basis of his predecessors and have withstood a long-time test of clinical experience. The third part is empirical and established prescriptions. The fourth part is the general prescription of general dermatology and surgery. Mr. Zhao Bingnan emphasizes syndrome differentiation in treating diseases. Despite general treatment principles and prescriptions, flexible treatment and practical clinical analysis must be adopted for each patient who has individual symptoms.
