Delegates of the Third International Training & Field Study of TCM Nursing Care Came to Our Hospital to Visit and Exchange Views

On May 30, 2015,the delegates of the Third International Training & Field Study of TCM Nursing Care, jointly organized by Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine International Exchange & Cooperation Center and Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, came to our hospital to visit and exchange views.

Hao Li, the Director of the Department of Nursing, introduced to the guests the nursing culture and features therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in our hospital. Huang Qinghui, the Vice President, Chief Nurse and Pharmacist of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Tung Shin Hospital in Malaysia, and Yang Qing'e, the Director of Department of Nursing and Director of International Education Center from Zhanghua Branch of Show Chwan Health Care System in Taiwan, introduced the history and development of their hospitals, as well as the local applications of featured therapies of traditional Chinese medicine, such as the seed-embedding at otopoints therapy and cupping therapy. They carried out extensive discussions and communications with the Chief Nurses and nursing cadres some departments of our hospital on nursing management, nursing education, the inheritance and development of traditional medicine and the bottleneck problems in the development of modern nursing. The guests also visited the wards of Department of Dermatology and watched the unique stamp-shaped topical application of drug of our hospital; in the third ward of Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, the Chief Nurse Song Shuxiang introduced in detail how the nursing group guided the patients' daily life with the nursing concept of the Midnight-Noon Ebb-Flow, and the guests also experienced the treatment method seed-embedding at otopoints with great interest; in the Outpatient Department of Surgery, many kinds of preparations and dressing method of putting red gauze strips on the broken wound of the hospital aroused the strong interest of the guests. The guests praised the making of the medicated thread, hoping to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the future. (Department of Nursing)
