Lu Yechen

Lu Yechen (1909 - 1975), whose given name was Lurong, and courtesy name was Yechen, was born in Shanyin County, Zhejiang Province, Han nationality. He was taught by Mr. Feng Jiuru for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) when he was young, and later began to practice in Beijing.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he worked in the Medical Oncology Groups in Beijing School of TCM and Beijing Hospital of Traditional CM, he once served as the Editor of Schools of TCM magazine. He carefully studied Chinese medicine classics, and was proficient in theory of Yun-Qi, and good at internal miscellaneous diseases, especially the wind syndrome, dampness syndrome, spleen and stomach diseases. He was enthusiastically imparted and unreservedly in teaching and had written a number of papers such as Clinical Syndrome Differentiation of TCM, A Brief Discussion on Cancer Differentiation and Metastasis, which were included in the Selected Experiences of Old Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing.

Mr. Lu was serious and responsible for his work, and always obeyed the arrangement of the organization. He worked hard on cancer guidance and paid himself for the coast of making drugs. He regularly participated in the cancer guidance group activities every Thursday afternoon, speaking actively in the discussion of medical records, modestly learning the advantages of others. He was serious and responsible in the work of lecture in acupuncture training class and editing Chinese Medicine Academic Event Report, winning unanimously praise.
